Leo’s Red, White, and Blue Shot!
Everyone loved my Patriotic Shots on the 4th!  I thought I would share the recipe and technique for making them with my closest friends…you know, the whole world.
First, you’ll need the following ingredients: White Rum, Coconut Rum, Grenadine, Blue food coloring, Coconut Milk.
Making the Colors:

Blue: add a few drops of blue food coloring to white rum (Could use a blue liqueur like Hipnotiq)

White: mix coconut rum and coconut milk about 1/2 and 1/2
Red: genadine

You pour layered shots backwards to what you might think.  You pour the top layer first.  So, pour in a little of your blue rum.  Then, pour a little of your white mixture down the side of the glass so it slides right under the blue.  Finally, pour your grenadine down the side of the glass so it slides right under the blue and the white.  It’s very pretty, very easy, and VERY tasty!
Enjoy!
