Leo’s Red, White, and Blue Shot! Everyone loved my Patriotic Shots on the 4th!  I thought I would share the recipe and technique for making them with my closest friends…you know, the whole world. First, you’ll need the following ingredients: White Rum, Coconut Rum, Grenadine, Blue food coloring, Coconut Milk. Making the Colors: Blue: add a few drops of blue food coloring to white rum (Could use a blue liqueur like Hipnotiq) White: mix coconut rum and coconut milk about 1/2 and 1/2 Red: genadine You pour layered shots backwards to what you might think.  You pour the top layer first.  So, pour in a little of your blue rum.  Then, pour a little of your white mixture down the side of the glass so it slides right under the blue.  Finally, pour your grenadine down the side of the glass so it slides right under the blue and the white.  It’s very pretty, very easy, and VERY tasty! Enjoy!

This is a cool service.  Have you ever been on the road and wanted to send an email to your team, bible group, etc?  You can use jott to do this; just call jott, tell it to email your team, leave the message, and hang up.  Jott will transcribe your voicemail to text and send an email to the list of people you indicated. Or, you hear about or see a cool website while you’re driving; just call jott, tell it you have a new link, jott does the rest…it transcribes the url and adds it to your list of cool websites. Note to self, email the team, add a to-do item, remember this link…Jott does it all via your voice.  And, It’s FREE!

Using Skitch with Evernote for Mac (via EvernoteAndrew)

Good video showing how to use Evernote with a screen capture tool on the mac.  Many ways to do the same thing without skitch…on a mac try SHIFT+CMD+4 and select the area of the screen you want to capture…tada a new picture on your desktop!
